This workshop gives you insights on how to determine your priorities. You learn how to expand your influence on yourself and your surroundings. You will create an overview of those disturbances and pitfalls in your personality, which make it difficult to stick to your plans and reach your goals. You will develop strategies to eliminate them. Further you acquire a lot of tips and tricks to become more effective and efficiently in managing your work and your time. You will develop a pleasant work structure, which creates control, overview and provides you with peace of mind.

This workshop consists of two meetings with a duration of 4 hours each. At the end of the workshop you have created a valuable and attractive personal action plan which helps you to work more efficient and effective in achieving your goals. The workshop is set to provide you of the necessary tooling to diminish stress and experience even more pleasure in both your work and your personal life!

The NATM Academy focuses on the development of professionals within their field of expertise. In addition to the events organized by NATM, we do this by means of trainings in which real success stories can be made. In this way NATM makes a direct contribution to the professionalisation of professionals at every stage of their career. Whether you are a starter in corporate business travel or if you already have several years of experience, the NATM Academy guarantees 'a lifelong learning'.

In order to provide the NATM members with the best education in the area of business travel management in the broadest sense, and to offer its members with certified educational programs, NATM has decided to partner with Breda Business School - University of Applied Sciences.

NATM Actueel: Executive Training Program succesvol afgerond

De eerste deelnemers van de NATM Academy hebben hun certificaat behaald en de feedback over het educatieve trainingsprogramma is bijzonder positief. ‘Door de opzet van een kleine groep is er veel ruimte voor diepgang en discussie’.

De eerste NATM Academy is afgerond. In de periode september 2017- juni 2018 hebben de deelnemers een cyclus van tien trainingsmodules gevolgd, verspreid over acht dagen. Alle aspecten van travel management zijn daarbij aan de orde komen. Na het volgen van het volledige programma hebben de deelnemers een officieel certificaat ontvangen. Travel managers van Fujifilm, Interface, Boskalis en Siemens hebben de NATM Academy gevolgd en hun ervaringen zijn positief.

“De NATM Academy is leerzaam, interessant en dynamisch, niet in de laatste plaats door de inbreng van professor Herman Mensink en Odete Pimenta da Silva van de NATM,” zegt Lydia de Kousemaeker, Strategic Buyer & Travel management Supply Chain Services – Procurement van Fujifilm. “Door de opzet van een kleine groep is er veel ruimte voor diepgang en discussie. Daarnaast wordt de praktische insteek niet uit het oog verloren. Iedere keer keek ik weer uit naar de volgende module.”

Voor ervaren travelexperts én voor nieuwkomers
“De NATM Academy is een aanrader voor travel managers en travel buyers die hun vakkennis willen uitbreiden, maar ook zeker voor nieuwkomers in de zakelijke reiswereld,” zegt een andere travel manager. “De opbouw van het programma zit goed in elkaar. Alle facetten van business travel komen aan de orde; de grote spelers, de trends, alle stakeholders, het belang van technologie binnen de branche, de huidige vorm van travel management en hoe dit er in de toekomst uit zal komen te zien, enzovoorts. De lessen worden gegeven door professionals bekend met de (zakelijke) reiswereld. Je leert niet alleen van de lesstof, maar je leert ook van elkaar; inzichten en werkwijzen worden gedeeld en de sfeer is open.”

Niets doen is geen optie
“Het is belangrijk dat travel managers zichzelf blijven ontwikkelen binnen hun vakgebied om zowel externe als interne uitdagingen het hoofd te kunnen bieden, zegt Pimenta da Silva. “De zakelijke reiswereld is continu in beweging en de rol van travel management verschuift mee. Niets doen is geen optie – je moet zeker ook intern kunnen laten zien wat je toegevoegde waarde is. Als NATM hebben wij geconstateerd dat de behoefte aan educatie op specifieke onderdelen en op verschillende niveaus toeneemt. Dat was voor ons aanleiding om het afgelopen jaar het NATM Academy Executive Training Program te lanceren. De huidige deelnemers hebben aangegeven dat ze interesse hebben in nog meer verdieping en verbreding van kennis. Dat gaan we faciliteren zodat de rol van de travel manager nog meer wordt versterkt.”

NATM Academy 2018-2019
De tweede NATM Academy heeft plaats vanaf september 2018 tot en met juni 2019. Het programma bestaat wederom uit tien modules, verspreid over acht dagen. De NATM Academy is toegankelijk voor professionals die in hun onderneming verantwoordelijk zijn voor de inkoop van business travel binnen de disciplines Inkoop, Facilitair Management, Human Resources, Financiën of Directiesecretariaat. NATM Academy

De zakelijke reiswereld is continu in beweging en de rol van travel management verschuift mee. Niets doen is geen optie – corporate travel managers moeten zich blijven ontwikkelen binnen hun vakgebied om zowel externe als interne uitdagingen het hoofd te kunnen bieden.

De NATM organiseert regelmatig educatieve sessies voor haar leden en in besloten bijeenkomsten wisselen de travel managers ervaringen uit met vakgenoten. De NATM constateert dat de behoefte aan educatie op specifieke onderdelen en op verschillende niveaus toeneemt. Reden om in samenwerking met NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences de NATM Academy voor Corporate Travel Managers te lanceren.

“Wij zijn zeer verheugd deze samenwerking met de NHTV te kunnen aankondigen,” zegt Odete Pimenta da Silva, managing director van de NATM. “Wij zijn ervan overtuigd dat deze opleiding van toegevoegde waarde is voor huidige en toekomstige travel professionals op het gebied van corporate travel management.”

Tien trainingsprogramma's
De NATM Academy faciliteert in de periode september 2017 t/m juni 2018 een cyclus van tien trainingsprogramma's verdeeld over drie modules. Alle aspecten van travel management zullen aan de orde komen. Naar gelang de wensen en het niveau van de (toekomstige) travel manager zijn de modules ook afzonderlijk te volgen. De pedagogische visie en de filosofie van de NHTV op het concept community learning zijn van toepassing.

De NATM Academy voor Corporate Travel Managers is exclusief toegankelijk voor NATM-leden; professionals die in hun onderneming verantwoordelijk zijn voor de inkoop van business travel binnen de disciplines Inkoop, Facilitair Management, Human Resources, Financiën of Directiesecretariaat. De kosten variëren per trainingsonderdeel en de duur verschilt per educatief onderdeel.

De eerste module begint op 20 september a.s. met een trainingsprogramma van zes uur in het Dutch Design Hotel Artemis in Amsterdam. Deze eerste training maakt onderdeel uit van een serie van drie verschillende trainingsdagen, die tezamen één educatieve module vormen. Na het volgen van het volledige programma ontvangen de deelnemers een officieel certificaat.
